Front entrance

The daylilies are in bloom in front! Stella d'oro daylilies: they'll keep blooming throughout the summer. Asian lilies tower behind them on the right; on the left is a "Sky Pencil" holly. I've dug a little rose bed up by the lamp-post, with a "Felicia" rose, a "Glamis Castle" rose, two "May Night" Salvia. The pale chartreuse blooms of the euphorbia look great against the dark purple salvia. (Did you know that Euphorbia's common name is "Spurge"? I dare you to try and come up with an uglier name!)
